Miriam Katherine McDonald (born July 26, 1987) is a former Canadian actress. McDonald found a niche as a voice-over actress, after she was cast in 2001 to participate in a cartoon series named ''Ripping Friends''. She has done a total of 39 voice-over jobs. In 2000, she was cast as Emma Nelson in ''Degrassi: The Next Generation'', a spin-off of the successful ''Degrassi'' series. In 2004, she played Dawn Gensler in the made-for-television movie ''She's Too Young''. She also had a guest role on the Canadian Family show ''Naturally, Sadie'' as Heidi. In 2008, she played Danielle "Daisy" Brooks in the made-for-television erotic-thriller movie, ''Poison Ivy 4: The Secret Society''. In 2013, she got a one episode role in the popular Canadian TV-show ''Lost Girl''; she also made a small appearance in ''Orphan Black''.
